Terms of Service & Refund Policy

Last updated: [DATE YOU PUBLISH THIS]

Before you publish this page: the business address below should include a full postal address with postcode (not just "Icon Office, East Ham, London") so post can actually reach you there — check the exact registered address with whoever runs that office space and update it. Also set the "last updated" date to whenever you actually publish this.

01Who you're contracting with

The Benchmark Group is a trading name of Saman Labugama Gamage, operating as a sole trader.

Business address: Icon Office, East Ham, London

Contact: WhatsApp 07598 311460 · Email petster365@gmail.com

These terms apply whenever you engage The Benchmark Group's NHS application support service ("the service"), whether arranged by WhatsApp, email or this website.

02What the service includes

The service covers profile and CV review, role targeting, tailored NHS application/supporting statement preparation, submission of applications on your behalf, progress updates, and interview preparation once you're invited to interview. Full details are set out on the pricing section of the website and confirmed with you before work begins.

03Price and payment

  • £20 is payable to begin the service. This covers your profile review and the start of application work.
  • £980 becomes payable once you are invited to interview for an NHS role that we have applied to on your behalf. This is the only trigger for the balance — no interview invitation, no balance due.
  • Prices are shown in GBP and include any taxes that apply.

04Your right to cancel (14-day cooling-off period)

Because this service is arranged online or by phone, you're a "consumer" for the purposes of the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013. This gives you the right to cancel, without giving a reason, within 14 calendar days of paying the £20 to begin.

If you cancel within 14 days and we haven't started work

You get a full refund of the £20, normally within 14 days of telling us you want to cancel.

If you ask us to start before the 14 days are up

We won't begin working on your applications during the 14-day period unless you expressly ask us to. If you do, and you later cancel within the 14 days, you'll still owe a fair amount for the work already carried out up to the point you cancelled — not the full £20 — and we'll refund the rest.

To cancel, just tell us by WhatsApp or email — you don't need a special form, but let us know clearly that you're cancelling.

05Refunds after the cooling-off period

Once the 14-day cooling-off period has passed and work is underway, the £20 covers work already carried out and is non-refundable, reflecting the personalised nature of the service (profile review, CV work and applications already prepared or submitted).

If you cancel after being invited to interview but before paying the £980 balance, the balance is not owed, since it was only ever payable on that trigger — but any applications already submitted on your behalf remain your responsibility to manage going forward.

If you believe the service hasn't been delivered with reasonable care and skill, contact us first — we'd rather put it right. Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, you're entitled to have a service redone or to a price reduction if it falls short of that standard.

06What we promise, and what we can't

  • We commit to using only information you've confirmed as accurate, checking role suitability before applying, and tailoring every application to the specific role and person specification.
  • We do not guarantee a job offer, an interview, or any specific outcome. NHS Trusts and employers make their own independent shortlisting and hiring decisions.
  • We do not invent or exaggerate experience, qualifications, registration status or references. Every application is built only on what's true.
  • Our service is limited to NHS job application and supporting document preparation. We do not provide visa, sponsorship or immigration advice, and nothing in the service should be relied on as such.

07Your information

To provide the service we may collect your CV, work history, qualifications, registration details and application documents. This is used only to deliver the service you've requested, handled confidentially, and not shared or sold to third parties beyond what's needed to submit your applications (e.g. NHS Jobs/TRAC).

08Complaints

If something's gone wrong, contact us directly first at petster365@gmail.com or WhatsApp 07598 311460, and we'll do our best to resolve it. As a UK consumer, you also have the right to refer unresolved disputes to an alternative dispute resolution provider or Trading Standards.
